I often wonder, time and time again, how this could have all happened to me. What a completely rewarding experience EVERY part of this is for me. The friends I’ve made in my clients, after they’ve hired me to document (and celebrate with them) on one of the happiest days of their life… it’s completely amazing. In addition to my “client turned friends,” I also have my “competition turned friends.” Other wedding photographers I’ve become close to – people often ask me why I am friends with people I’m directly competing with; I absolutely don’t view it that way. I’m so lucky to have them in my life, for many, many reasons.
Jen is an amazing person, and also a dear friend to me now. I have formed a very tight bond with her, and it pleases me to no end. Sincerely. We’ve shared so much, and it’s meant the world to me. Then I got to meet Mark, FINALLY! Apparently, I had him at “OH! I LOVE The Patriots.” Jen had been trying to tell him that I “liked” the team… then, while describing exactly how much I like them, she said I was a “rabid fan.” And I can’t tell you how pleased I was with her assessment of me! I still think Mark, the sportscaster didn’t believe that I REALLLLY loved them, or I was just one of those girls, who likes to drink Bud Light and make chips and dip for the game (well, I do that too) and then not watch the game (I definitely DO NOT do that!) But then we started talking players, specific games, events in team history… he couldn’t stump me. And I was pretty pleased with myself, I might add. He also liked my Patriots license plate holder on my car.
I can’t wait to celebrate with you on the cape… SOON! I’ve been over the Sagamore Bridge 4 times this week, and I have to tell you… it’s my favorite place in the world :D

love you guys!
