Steph literally had me at hello. She was so excited about her wedding in her website inquiry submission to me, telling me all about her wedding, how much she loved my work, and moreover how she loved that she could tell how much I loved my work. Everything was easy from the start, we always returned emails quickly to each other; it was effortless. I knew immediately we were going to be a perfect match. In the months between first booking me, and shooting her wedding, we became friends. In an example of why Steph earns one of the best client ever awards, last fall, I was so behind schedule, and instead of being upset at me that I hadn’t gotten to her engagement pictures yet, she offered to come take me out for a beer if I was too stressed. That not only, instantly relieves the insane pressure I put on myself, but it makes me feel so appreciated that she cares about ME as a human being, and not the evil person holding her pictures hostage and not letting her see them. Never, not once, did I ever get an email that was anything but so obliging, so complimentary, so understanding – it’s almost hard to believe ANYONE can be that nice – she simply makes you want to be a better person. And in this time I’ve been shooting weddings, there is something I’ve noticed… the kind of girls like Steph? they are just amazingly beautiful on their wedding day – as if, on this day, all their inner beauty is out on display, and it’s a completely untouchable, an awe-inspiring brand of beautiful, which makes them more gorgeous than any human truly should be.
As I sat and listened to the speeches on their wedding day, it was apparent that everyone else ALSO thinks that Steph and Reid are amazing individuals, and therefore so deserving of each other. They are totally in love, and that is why I love them. And like I said after her engagement shoot, Steph, you’re stuck with me, for life, whether you want me in it or not. I’m here. Let’s go to Beacon Hill and walk around and pretend like we live there.
Steph & Reid’s wedding was held at The Villa at Ridder Country Club in East Bridgewater – the place is so great. At The Villa, they just “get it” and make it an amazing atmosphere to work together.

While I was with the girls, Aubrey got these of the guys…

If you look closely, you’ll see Steph posing for me, and Aubrey caught this one
If I needed to pick one image that says exactly why I love her, this one is it. AH-Dor-Able.

love me some 2nd shooter angles during formals.

ok, this is the RIDIC gorgeousness I am talking about. this just isn’t right!!! you’re a smokeshow Steph.

no yawning in church!

not happy at all, it’s too bad she couldn’t show that she loves Reid a little more, and is so happy to be his wife. just a complete poker face. and look how happy Bethel is for them! so cute!

I honestly have no idea, but I just love it so much. I think I need an explanation…

you know what i truly love? when a bridal party completely and whole heartedly sucks it up and does what is best for the bride and groom. not one complaint from this group. no “it’s raining” “my shoes are sinking into the grass” “i’m getting wet” not a one. it’s the absolute best. and such a true sign of a very true friend – one that would go to the ends of the earth for you.

aubrey got this awesome shot

you know what else i love. a good photo bomb, and this is a double!! check it!!
